Baseball Recap: Tigard Comes Up Short

Tigard had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 5-6-1 to make it five. They came up short against the Lake Oswego Lakers, falling 12-2. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Lakers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alexander Pearson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

As for Lake Oswego, their win bumped their record up to 4-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their one-run performance the contest before.

On Lake Oswego's side, the team relied heavily on Carsten Lemon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Lemon a new career-high.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tigard beat Lake Oswego by a score of 11-4 on Wednesday.
