Soccer Recap: Jackson South Side Takes a Loss

Jackson South Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jackson North Side Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jackson South Side of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Jackson South Side's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Jackson North Side, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Jackson South Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson North Side, they will venture away from home to take on Covington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
