Basketball Game Preview: St. Francis Episcopal Wolves vs. Cooper Dragons

The St. Francis Episcopal Wolves will venture away from home to square off against the Cooper Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, St. Francis Episcopal didn't have quite enough to beat First Baptist Christian and fell 27-25. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1218th, while the Warriors are ranked 595th).

Meanwhile, Cooper was able to grind out a solid win over The Awty International on Tuesday, taking the game 46-38.

Cooper's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for St. Francis Episcopal, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

St. Francis Episcopal came up short against Cooper in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 35-24. Can St. Francis Episcopal avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
