Joliet West waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Plainfield East Bengals. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 11-2 win on Tuesday.

Joliet West's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-15. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Plainfield East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 19 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-23-1 record this season.
