Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Columbia Area). Everything went their way against the Bloomsburg Panthers on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-8 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Southern Columbia Area's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Bloomsburg, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Columbia Area will welcome Muncy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season.
