Basketball Game Preview: Summit Christian Academy Eagles vs. Grandview Bulldogs

The Summit Christian Academy Eagles will head out to face off against the Grandview Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season.

Summit Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over Grandview. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 187th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mike Thomas III and Max Rieger were among the main playmakers for Summit Christian Academy as the former almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine boards and the latter went 10 of 16 on his way to 27 points and four steals. The contest was Rieger's fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Grandview has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Summit Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
