Baseball Recap: Armstrong Takes a Loss

Armstrong was the 6-5 winner over Penn-Trafford when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The River Hawks fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday.

Armstrong dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Penn-Trafford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Armstrong will take on Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Penn-Trafford, they will challenge North Allegheny at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
