Baseball Recap: Springs Valley Takes a Loss

Springs Valley fell victim to Scottsburg and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Springs Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackey Lowe, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Lowe's first of the season.

Springs Valley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Scottsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.

Springs Valley is taking a road trip to challenge West Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Scottsburg, they will welcome Corydon Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
