Lake Forest lost to Sussex Central back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Lake Forest Spartans managed a 56-50 win over the Sussex Central Golden Knights.

Lake Forest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. As for Sussex Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Lake Forest will head out on the road to square off against Laurel at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sussex Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-61 victory against Caesar Rodney on the 18th.
