Recap: Kimball Longhorns vs. Potter-Dix Coyotes
The Kimball Longhorns's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 40-24 victory over Potter-Dix. This was payback for Kimball, who suffered a 39-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Kimball's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Anderson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Addy Olson, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Kimball's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Potter-Dix, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
