Basketball Game Preview: Wichita County Indians vs. Deerfield Spartans

The Wichita County Indians will square off against the Deerfield Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Wichita County against Sublette as the team secured a 73-30 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deerfield). They breezed by Rolla to the tune of 57-29 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their 18-point performance the match before.

Wichita County's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Deerfield, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
