Football Game Preview: Berwick Bulldogs vs. Williamsport Millionaires

The Berwick Bulldogs will face off against the Williamsport Millionaires at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Berwick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Williamsport likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Berwick made easy work of Greater Nanticoke Area and carried off a 42-16 victory. The Bulldogs' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 40 points the game before, Williamsport was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by Shamokin Area and fell 42-7. The matchup marked the Millionaires' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Berwick's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points over those games. As for Williamsport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Berwick took their win against Williamsport in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 37-14 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Millionaires' Kyreek Bradshaw, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
