Football Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Skates Past Columbus with Ease + How To Watch

St. Thomas Aquinas won the last time they faced Columbus and things went their way on Friday too. The Raiders took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-7 win over the Explorers. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Explorers are ranked 35th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading St. Thomas Aquinas to victory were Jaden Desir and Mason Mallory. Desir gained 70 total yards and three touchdowns, while Mallory threw for 232 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Calixte, who rushed for 101 yards on only ten carries.

St. Thomas Aquinas now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
