Softball Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

The West Middlesex Big Reds came up short against the Franklin Knights on Saturday and fell 4-1.

West Middlesex saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Leonard, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

West Middlesex has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Franklin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-13.

As of now, neither West Middlesex nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
