Soccer Recap: Lake Gibson Victorious

Lake Gibson won the last time they faced Lake Region and things went their way on Monday too. The Lake Gibson Braves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake Region Thunder, sneaking past 2-1.

Christopher Johnson and Hagen Booth scored both of Lake Gibson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Lake Gibson's victory bumped their record up to 15-4-3. As for Lake Region, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4-1.

Lake Gibson will face off against Wesley Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Region, they will take on Lake Wales at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Region is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
