Heath is a perfect 10-0 against Northridge since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will take on the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Heath and 12 for Northridge.

Things were looking good for Heath after they put the first run on the board last Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Mt. Vernon, falling 17-6.

Kyndall Spicer was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Northridge lost 24-1 to Johnstown-Monroe on Friday.

Northridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Goodwin, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Heath's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Heath hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .323. However, it's not like Northridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .318. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Heath took their win against Northridge in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 18-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
