Football Recap: Crofton Gets the Win + How To Watch

Crofton won the last time they faced Hartington-Newcastle and Tyson Jackson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 52-30 margin over the Wildcats on Friday thanks in part to Jackson, who rushed for 143 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.

Trevor Allen was another key player, picking up 70 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He also put up two receiving touchdowns, which were his first of the season.

Hartington-Newcastle's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Sudbeck, who rushed for 90 yards and one TD, and also threw for 229 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Jason Heimes helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.
