Evansville Mater Dei extended their postseason success on Saturday against Shenandoah. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Evansville Mater Dei's fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Shenandoah, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 22-5 record.

Looking ahead, Evansville Mater Dei will take on Providence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
