While Patton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Draughn Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 73-52 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Patton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points over those games. As for Draughn, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patton will be home for the holidays to greet Freedom at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Draughn, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Rutherford at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
