Volleyball Recap: Menomonee Falls Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Menomonee Falls saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Waukesha South Blackshirts by a score of 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Phoenix.

Sam Barkimer paced Menomonee Falls' offense, picking up ten kills. Barkimer got some help from Ben Kuhn and his 26 assists. Finally, Barkimer was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Menomonee Falls' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Waukesha South, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Menomonee Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Pius XI Catholic on the 2nd. As for Waukesha South, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Madison Memorial on October 2.
