Softball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders vs. Milledgeville Missiles
Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Milledgeville Missiles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Missiles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Tuesday.
Ashton-Franklin Center saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Claire Freeman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run. Another was Leah Obrien, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Ashton-Franklin Center's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Milledgeville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.
