The matchup between Bledsoe County and Whitwell  on Thursday hardly resembled the  3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Warriors put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp  13-7 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the  matchup before.
  Macy Holland was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Bailee McCauley also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Bledsoe County's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5-1. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Whitwell, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
 Looking ahead, Bledsoe County will venture away from home to  face off against Marion County  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Whitwell, they will welcome Sequatchie County  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
