Basketball Recap: Chester Comes Up Short

Chester lost against Marissa/Coulterville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chester Yellowjackets came up short against the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors, falling 61-35.

Chester has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Marissa/Coulterville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chester will host Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mascoutah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
