Baseball Recap: Woods Cross Victorious

Woods Cross gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 16-11 win over the Northridge Knights. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Beau Blackwell, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Woods Cross: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Lythgoe, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
