Volleyball Recap: Kofa's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Kofa came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Somerton Toros on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 18-25, 26-24.

Leading Kofa to victory were Isabel Desautelle and Makenzie Wharton. Desautelle had 38 assists and three digs, while Wharton had ten kills, five digs, and one block. Those 38 assists gave Desautelle a new career-high.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Somerton, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Coming up, Kofa will head out to challenge Tolleson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Somerton, they will welcome Cibola at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
