Basketball Recap: Za'khiya Shaw-Rease Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christian Academy of Knoxville, Pine Forest was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 52-40 win over the Pensacola Tigers. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 55-30 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pine Forest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Za'Khiya Shaw-Rease out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Gerri Lewis was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five assists and five boards.
