Volleyball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers and Sumner squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Rogers had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Spartans. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Sumner was led to victory by Kassidi Lelli and Brooke Anardi. Lelli had 19 digs and two aces, while Anardi had 15 digs and three aces. What's more, Anardi posted two kills, the most she's had since back in September.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sumner, they moved to 11-8 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Rogers nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
