Baseball Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss

Piedmont suffered their closest loss since April 7th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Yukon Millers by a score of 4-2.

Piedmont's defeat dropped their record down to 24-11. As for Yukon, they pushed their record up to 20-13 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Piedmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-4 win against Putnam City North on the 8th. As for Yukon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Eisenhower on the 8th.
