Canton beats Greenville for their third straight win

The Canton Tigers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against Greenville as Canton made off with a 28-7 win.
Despite the loss, Greenville still got an impressive performance from Michael Hodges, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Canton's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Greenville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Canton will head out on the road to face off against Gentry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Yazoo City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yazoo City is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
