Fred Olanna and Ivan Davis-Nayokpuk secure win for Shishmaref

Recap: Shishmaref Northern Lights vs. Brevig Mission Huskies
The Shishmaref Northern Lights came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Brevig Mission by a score of 80-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Shishmaref was led to victory by Fred Olanna and Ivan Davis-Nayokpuk. Olanna scored 23 points, while Davis-Nayokpuk scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis-Nayokpuk has scored all season. Seth Nayokpuk was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Shishmaref's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Brevig Mission, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Shishmaref will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aniguiin on February 9th. Brevig Mission does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
