Basketball Recap: Riesel Takes a Loss

Riesel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 61-28 defeat at the hands of the Axtell Longhorns. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-43 back in January.

Riesel's record now sits at 7-15. As for Axtell, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chilton the next time they take the court. Riesel will host Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Axtell will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
