Robertson has gone 8-2 against Sandia Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cardinals will challenge the Sundevils at 11:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Robertson came up short against West Las Vegas on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Dons: they've now lost three in a row.

While Robertson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 29-27, 25-12.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sandia Prep and Cottonwood Classical Prep meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Sundevils fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 3-2. While the Sundevils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Coyotes 25-19 in the first set.

Sandia Prep started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 12-25, 25-23, 25-16, 17-15.

Robertson's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Sandia Prep, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-4.

Robertson suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Sandia Prep in their previous meeting last Saturday. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
