Basketball Game Preview: Freedom Eagles vs. Gainesville Cardinals

The Freedom Eagles will head out to challenge the Gainesville Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Freedom came up short against Patriot and fell 66-55. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Gainesville blew past Osbourn, posting a 66-30 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Gainesville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Freedom, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Freedom came up short against Gainesville when the teams last played back in January, falling 75-64. Can Freedom avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
