Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Comes Up Short

Arrowhead and Marquette University squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Arrowhead had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hilltoppers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warhawks have suffered since October 15th.

Joey Davies paced Arrowhead's offense, picking up six kills. Davies got some help from William Cornell and his 17 assists. Finally, Jack Dennis kept Arrowhead's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

With the defeat, Arrowhead broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 24-15. As for Marquette University, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.
