Burlington waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-16 victory over the Osawatomie Trojans. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Burlington found their leader in sophomore Mac Medlock, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. Grace Birk was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Burlington's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Osawatomie, they dropped their record down to 0-17-3 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burlington will host Council Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Osawatomie, they will welcome Prairie View on Tuesday. Prairie View's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Osawatomie's offense will have their work cut out for them.
