Baseball Recap: Union Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Union had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Quitman on Tuesday. The Union Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Quitman Panthers with a sharp 12-2 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Yellowjackets have posted against the Panthers since April 16, 2018.

Austin Lee was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jackson Flake also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Union always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Quitman only posted an OBP of .318.

Union pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
