Baseball Recap: Indian River Comes Up Short

Indian River was the 2-1 winner over Watertown when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of the Cyclones by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Indian River dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Watertown, they moved to 5-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian River will venture away from home to challenge Gouverneur at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Watertown, they will head out to take on Cicero-North Syracuse at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
