Football Recap: Houston Mustangs vs. Oak Grove Warriors

After flying high against Cordova last Friday, Houston came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Oak Grove Warriors by a score of 28-25 on Friday. Despite the defeat, Houston saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Canon Day rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 157 yards on 12 of 24 attempts. Those 147 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Day.
