St. Mary's Prep waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Okemos Wolves.

Avery Kapeller paced St. Mary's Prep's offense, picking up six kills. Kapeller got some help from Lindsey Schwegman and her 15 assists. Kapeller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

St. Mary's Prep's victory bumped their record up to 24-6-4. As for Okemos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

St. Mary's Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against South Lyon on the 4th. As for Okemos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Everett on the 7th.
