Lakeside had won two straight games and Michael Youngblood did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Lakeside Panthers came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 68-67 W against the Bradwell Institute Tigers thanks to Youngblood, who posted 25 points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Bradwell Institute lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaylin Sweat, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christopher Perry, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 19 points.

Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Bradwell Institute, their record is now 20-6.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-50 win against Brunswick on the 14th. As for Bradwell Institute, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-49 victory against Greenbrier on the 14th.
