Basketball Recap: Chrisman Cardinals vs. Martinsville Bluestreaks
Chrisman lost against Martinsville back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cardinals came up short against the Bluestreaks, falling 51-27. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Chrisman got some senior leadership from Adaleyn Miller and Taylor Jones. Miller posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks, while Jones earned four points along with ten boards and four blocks. Those four blocks set a new season-high mark for Jones. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidyn Alexander, who put up five points.
Chrisman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Martinsville, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chrisman will be home for the holidays to greet Salt Fork at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Storm will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Martinsville, they will welcome Cumberland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
