Soccer Game Preview: Beamer vs. Kentlake

The Beamer Titans will face off against the Kentlake Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Beamer's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Beamer managed to slip by Federal Way the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 5-0 to the Eagles on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Kentlake was not quite Auburn Mountainview's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Kentlake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Auburn Mountainview are ranked 17th).

Kentlake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for Beamer, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Beamer might still be hurting after the 6-2 loss they got from Kentlake in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
