Softball Recap: Lee Academy Comes Up Short

Lee Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Stearns, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pandas fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 6-4 on Thursday. The Pandas have struggled against the Minutemen recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Lee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Stearns, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Stearns will head out to take on Penobscot Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Lee Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Minutemen's matchup: after the Minutemen face off against the Howlers, they'll take on Lee Academy again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
