Football Recap: Peachtree Academy Falls Short of Praise Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peachtree Academy can now relate to. They were beaten by the Praise Academy Lions 28-0 on Friday. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Peachtree Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Praise Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Peachtree Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Praise Academy, they will square off against CrossPointe Christian Academy on Friday. The Cavaliers' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
