Thursday just wasn't the day for Yreka's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Lassen Grizzlies on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, Yreka's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
For Lassen's part, Cadence Morris made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. Morris was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
