Basketball Game Preview: Bremerton Knights vs. West Valley Rams

The Bremerton Knights will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the West Valley Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bremerton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully West Valley likes a good challenge.

Bremerton easily dispatched North Mason last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Bremerton fell just short of Bainbridge by a score of 63-61 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, West Valley had to suffer through a 78-49 loss at the hands of Davis. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 103rd in Washington, while the Darts are ranked fifth in Utah).

Bremerton moved to 4-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for West Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
