Basketball Recap: West Adams Takes a Loss

West Adams lost against Santee back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The West Adams Panthers fell 74-63 to the Santee Falcons. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Santee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Aldridge JR, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, Aldridge JR is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Miguel Vera, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine steals.

West Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Santee, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten games and leaves them with a 1-10 record.

West Adams has already played their next match (against Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Santee will head out to challenge Manual Arts at 4:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
