Granite Falls won the last time they faced South Whidbey and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 13-3 win. Considering the Tigers have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Granite Falls and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for South Whidbey, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granite Falls will venture away from home to take on Tyee at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for South Whidbey, they will head out to challenge West Seattle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
