On FridayCoalinga kept up with Dos Palos until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Dos Palos Broncos were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Coalinga Horned Toads. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Dos Palos used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Coalinga. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to: Hamilton Coy (80), Diego Ponce (80), and Alexis Martinez (80). The trio had averaged 42.6, 52.1, and 49.4 minutes respectively before Friday's matchup. Martinez made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist and two steals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Dos Palos pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Coalinga, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Avenal the next time they take the pitch. Dos Palos will head out to face Avenal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Coalinga will host them at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st.
