Basketball Recap: Wareham Takes a Loss

Wareham was the 62-51 winner over Fairhaven when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wareham Vikings fell 64-56 to the Fairhaven Blue Devils on Thursday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wareham's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Fairhaven, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Wareham will be playing in front of their home fans against Barnstable at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Barnstable will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Wareham surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairhaven, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Greater New Bedford RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
